The beauty industry promises calm, yet social media turns it into noise. Endless tutorials, product launches, reviews, polished studio visuals compete for attention – making even authenticity feel staged.
For Stenders, a brand rooted in Nordic nature, this posed a clear challenge: how do you communicate slowness in a feed designed for speed?

In an always-on digital world, audiences, especially women, are actively seeking ways to disconnect. From digital detoxes to wellness retreats, pirts rituals and long hikes, the demand for slow living and nature escapism has never been higher.
The insight was simple: people don’t need more polished studio content under artificial light – they crave real moments of calm, rooted in nature.

So instead of bending to classic beauty industry videos, we chose another approach – we packed a bag with Stenders products, a bag with video equipment, and each month escaped into Nordic nature ourselves.

Content drove more engagement, longer viewing times, and a significant increase in direct messages, with users describing the experience as calming and emotionally impactful.

This shift didn’t stay within Latvia. It resonated across the Baltics and reached audiences as far as Germany and China. And while the response was emotional, the numbers tell the story just as clearly:
– 10.9k new followers
– 2.6 million people reached
– Over 200k engagements
