In autumn and winter, the streets of Latvia grow darker – and people become less visible. To draw attention to pedestrian and cyclist visibility on the road, the CSDD road safety campaign “Deadly Stylish” was launched, highlighting a simple yet critical message: dark clothing without reflectors can be dangerous.
At the center of the campaign was the provocative and slightly ironic title “Deadly Stylish,” reflecting a common reality – people often choose aesthetics over safety. The campaign aimed to change this habit and make visibility a natural part of everyday behavior.
The campaign reached a wide audience across Latvia and sparked a strong public conversation about visibility on the road. Through emotional storytelling, real-life examples, and practical activities, it reminded people of a simple truth: being visible can save lives.
